Q: Who is NetPro and why are they hosting the Directory Experts Conference?

A: NetPro sets the Gold Standard for distributed infrastructure management. We incorporate decades of experience into every enterprise solution, ensuring that our customers can manage the health, security and control of their Active Directory, DNS, MIIS, and eDirectory environments with total, unparalleled confidence. Our solutions enable organizations to increase access availability, stability and performance, prevent costly disruptions, improve security and policy compliance, and enhance management productivity and efficiencies. We exceed expectations in the quality and depth of our solutions and deliver exceptional customer support and ROI every time. NetPro is a Gold Certified Microsoft partner.

As a leading provider of solutions that drive the availability, performance, security, and control of distributed network services, NetPro knows network services and directories. We recognize that the most experienced directory users need more and better information to effectively run and manage their directory implementations. The Directory Experts Conference evolved out of extensive discussions with our customers, as well as Active Directory and MIIS users who had expressed the need for an advanced exchange.

NetPro is ideally suited to deliver the Conference for directory experts because we are the directory experts. NetPro started building solutions back in 1991 to manage Banyan's StreetTalk, the first enterprise-scale network directory. Then we moved on to Novell's Novell Directory Services (NDS) eDirectory, introducing DS Expert and DS Analyzer, the only total solution available to manage eDirectory. And when Microsoft began development of Active Directory, NetPro was there. In fact, NetPro shipped DirectoryAnalyzer, the first comprehensive monitoring and alerting solution for Active Directory, before Microsoft even shipped Windows 2000. Since then, we have enhanced our Microsoft product offerings to include ChangeAuditor, SecurityManager, ChangeManager, DirectoryTroubleshooter, DNSAnalyzer, DirectoryLockdown, RestoreADmin, GPOADmin, AccessManager, LogADmin, ReportADmin, SelfServiceADmin and MissionControl for MIIS.
