Register ButtonWorkshop SOLD OUT: The Longhorn Active Directory Workshop

DEC 2007 will focus on a wide variety of sessions led by the top Microsoft IDA experts, offering in-depth technical presentations, as well as roundtable discussions designed to encourage delegate participation. In addition to traditional technical sessions held throughout the three-day event, DEC 2007 will also feature a pre-conference, hands-on Longhorn Active Directory Workshop. Join NetPro's Gil Kirkpatrick and a team of Microsoft Directory Services MVP's as they share best practices and hands-on lessons critical for a successful migration. The workshop will feature Longhorn Server, with a substantial focus on Active Directory 3. It will also showcase core technical scenarios, including conducting a fresh install and a forest upgrade, and understanding Read Only DC's, Server C and Monad.

The workshop will include such industry notables as Guido Grillenmeier of HP, Laura Hunter, infrastructure manager, University of Pennsylvania Business Services, and Ulf Simon-Weidner, senior consultant at Computacenter AG & Co. oHG.

Register ButtonHands-on MIIS: MIIS 2003 And Identity Lifecycle Management 2007

Wonder what's coming in the next generation of MIIS? Struggling to manage and leverage your MIIS environment to its full potential? Become a power user at NetPro's first ever MIIS Pre-conference Workshop on Sunday, April 22!

Taught by Oxford Computer Group, the leading MIIS training and consulting firm in the world, the workshop will feature an all-day, hands-on MIIS Advanced Course Training Lab, abbreviated from the Oxford 504, MIIS Advanced Course.

Built for the MIIS architect, implementer or developer who is already familiar with basic MIIS implementation, MIIS Unplugged will build on existing knowledge of MIIS-related infrastructure technologies (like LDAP, Windows 200X, AD, SQL Server, Exchange, etc.) and components of the .NET framework. You won't have to write much code during this session, as the session's been structured to enable developers to spend more time looking at provided code and tweaking it. If you are an implementer, you can get involved with overall considerations of data flow. And if you're an architect, you can spend more time considering the wider problems and their solutions. There's something for everyone!

Join MIIS MVP's James Booth and Craig Martin from Oxford at the MIIS pre-con and take away new MIIS techniques and tricks -- plus bleeding-edge details on what the future holds for Gemini.

Register ButtonActive Directory Federation Services (ADFS) Workshop

The DEC 2007 ADFS Workshop is a half-day workshop that highlights the different scenarios where identity federation provides a powerful solution. The first part of the workshop will dive into the architecture and underlying technology of Microsoft's ADFS, and the second half will walk through ADFS deployments in two fundamental scenarios. The first scenario covers a vendor granting a partner controlled access to internal web-based resources, while the second scenario highlights a company with two Active Directory forests (one in the DMZ) providing access to mobile employees.

The DEC 2007 ADFS Workshop is presented by Chris Cox of Oxford Computer Group and Paul Moore of Centrify and will run from 12-5 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2007, kicking off with lunch.
